Today on my way to church, my little girl was adamant that we stop and take notice of the buds for every single soon-to-be blooming flower on every block. Of course we were running late, which provides the tension this story needs to be less boring. Who knew that they were so many trees in Brooklyn.
That’s what I’m about (at least now) stopping as many times as I can to notice life blooming all around us. Doing this with my family, a dear friend or even one of my middle schoolers, makes the event completely meaningful.
I am a christian wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and observer of life which is slipping away faster than I can type the words for this blog. But I have this moment to be all God wants me to be to the most important people in my life.
